To verify your request, we may ask you to confirm specific information we have on file, such as your email address, phone number, full name, mailing address, and other identifying details. California “Shine the Light” Law
Under California Civil Code Section § 1798.83, also known as the “Shine the Light” law, California residents who provide personal information for personal, family, or household purposes may request, once per calendar year, information about any personal data we shared, if any, with other businesses for their direct marketing purposes. This law does not apply to business-to-business transactions or contexts where a consumer-business relationship has not been formed.
Since The Roofers.com operates strictly on a business-to-business basis and does not market to individual consumers, we generally do not share information as specified by this law. However, California residents may submit requests by emailing support@theroofers.com. with their name and address and specifying “California Shine the Light Request” in the subject line. We will respond within thirty (30) days of receiving such a request.
